- So what did you think?
-

-
- I've spent far too much time with DVIEW, so I'm going to leave it as it is
- for now. It simply refuses to do as I want...
-
- Anyway, the sources are now ordinary C, compilable by GCC or TurboC/PureC.
- They're quite ugly at the moment, since I've put quite a lot of debug and
- test code in there.
-
- If you press 'F' and 'W' while running, the program will switch to the
- mode I think we have to use if we want to run it on the DSP.
- Unfortunately I can't get rid of the errors that show up under some
- circumstances in that mode. Floors sometimes show through doors and
- disturbing glitches occur for some complicated structures.
- For good examples of the bugs, go into the room directly on the left
- in the first level and look at the top of the stairs. The problem there
- is that the wall outside is drawn on top of rest of the room. The
- secret door near the end of the level is an example of the 'transparancy'.
- If you can fix those bugs, I'd be very happy.
-
- By the way, I forgot to mention in the documentation that shows up when
- you start the program that you can change the screen size using the
- keys [ and ] for the width and { and } for the height.
- DON'T try to increase the size above 320x200!
-
- Regards,
- Johan
